The Bible is one book, one history, one story – His story!  Behind all of the recorded stories and events stands God. The Bible starts and ends in eternity, with time (history) in the middle. The Bible is God’s written revelation of His will to humanity.  Every word points to Christ and the central theme of the redemption of God’s creation. The paradise lost in Genesis becomes the paradise fulfilled in Revelation; and through every event in between, God is working out His will.  As you read the Bible as a whole, you cannot help but notice that through even the smallest detail, God’s grand eternal purpose of restoration is moving through the ages. In this course we will learn how foundation of the nation of Israel in the Old Testament serves to preserve the knowledge of God to humanity. It is through this nation that God made Himself known to the world. If you thought that the Old Testament was confusing, boring, dull, not relevant, or if you need to understand it better, this course is for you! If you have read the Old Testament, come join us as we revisit this beautiful HIS-story of redemption!
